I have lived in Young Harris my entire life. The town is quite and is a great place for raising a family. I would recommend moving to Young Harris to anyone. The college is pretty much the center of the town and there is a lot to get involved with there. The reason my review is missing a fifth star would have to be that there is not a whole lot to get involved with outside of the college. You pretty much only have the option of the movie theater and going swimming. Otherwise, Young Harris is the best! The entire town is very friendly and is always willing to lend a hand.
We’ve lived in young Harris now 3 years ! It’s very quiet, every once in a while I’ll hear the coyotes howling . I have plenty of deer I feed which I enjoy doing . I can travel to blue ridge in 40 minutes. You can really travel any place like NC,Tennessee, within hours .
It is a beautiful small town in the mountains, but based on the fact that is is so small there is not much to do as in nightlife, etc, but for nature loving people it is perfect.
