Working in Yorktown
Great place to live, friendly, and safe. Lived in the community for over 10 years and wouldn't choose to live anywhere else. Schools are top notch with excellent teachers. Enjoy the great outdoors with a bike ride to the popular Morrow's Meadows. Farmer's Market on Friday evenings with local vendors add to the appeal. After attending the market take a walk on one of the many walking trails.
Yorktown is a very small area. You usually will have to venture to Muncie to go grocery shopping, clothes shopping, see a movie, etc. The schools are very good (or at least they used to be) and it is very family and pet friendly.
It is a great place to live if you like the quiet sort of life, but if you are not that kind of person you can go to the nearby city of Muncie.
