Nebraska, it's not for everyone! There is not much to do here for teens, or nightlife since it is mainly just bars. In town, it is safe. Out by the interstate there is a sense of feeling unsafe.

Job opportunities in York are slim and the pay is minimal. There a few activities for children and what there is for kids is very costly. For example try outs for kids soft/baseball is 250$ and that isn't even a guarantee they will make the team. We have nothing in the community to invite new families in and keep them. Our shopping stores are limited and the ones in town charge high prices. For the cost of things in town it pays to drive 50 miles to other stores to purchase.
I love the small town feel of York. Most people are friendly and willing to help you. It is a great place to raise a family. There are numerous parks, a children's museum and a great aquatic center.
One thing I would change about York is the amount of drug use in the county.
