Of all the cities I have lived in Delaware, Wyoming is the best. If you like quiet, rural life, then Wyoming will work for you. Wyoming is no more then fifteen minutes from Dover and surrounding cities in Delaware. The distance makes it easy to get where you need to go but not too close to the busy life. It is also equal-distant from Wilmington and the Delaware beaches. Wyoming is small, but it is the best place to live if you like peace and tranquility.

Most families have lived here for generations and are supportive of the school district, its referendums, small businesses, and community involvement. People who don't have children in the high school come to support the arts (theater, music, band) and other activities through the various schools.
The Town of Wyoming has a lot of history - underground railroad, etc. There is little crime and people are friendly. The community supports education and votes for referendum to improve the schools. Maintenance to the town, snow removal when needed, and upkeep of the park is completed very well and in a timely manner. Property taxes are relatively low which makes my mother happy.
