Beautiful city that is fun to walk. They have lots of small town events that make living there really fun for the kids and adults too. The town is very walkable. The schools are not what they're cracked up to be, and we ended up pulling our kids out. I was surprised to learn how many families have opted to send their children to other schools. The town is also an echo chamber...if you like the echo you'll fit right in. However, if you're not echoing, you'll probably feel like a salmon swimming upstream. And your opinions will not be handled well. Just visit the local FB group and you'll see a lot of comrade but also lots of tearing people down and fighting. We lived there 2.5 years and couldn't get out fast enough. Beautiful and picturesque but that's about it.
Wyoming is a beautiful city with amazing people! Not only is our high school amazing for academics but we also are known for sports. Our athletics program is like no other and it helps to build hard-working, motivated, non-stop individuals.
Nice walkable community with sidewalks in most areas of town.
Beautiful old varied architecture of homes.
Easy access to highways.
Community somewhat guarded in sense that not open to people who are different then them or fit the "Wyoming" persona.
I lived here for over 20 years and have no friends in the community.
Schools good, highly rated, but I think this reflects the socioeconomic expectations of the families who live here. The schools could be better.
