Glen Allen is a fairly friendly community. The people here are generally friendly and neighborhoods are very closely knit. People often love to talk and engage in conversation, not afraid to exchange jokes and laugh about them. It has helped me learn how to set up a great environment for growth. So many new homes are sprouting up and I have seen this place change so dramatically ever since I've moved here. The only issue I have is the weather, which is too inconsistent to make anyone experienced in Virginia weather. I also have a specific liking of rainy weather, which isn't satisfied by Virginia as much as other places. As an adult I may move, but Virginia and Glen Allen is a wonderful place to raise children. Crime is almost nonexistent from what I know. Of course I'd love to live through childhood in Virginia again, as it offers a unique experience that only a mix of warm community and melting pots could create. The area is growing so incredibly fast I fear that in college I may not recognize it when I return on breaks.

Wyndham is arguably the most affluent area of Richmond. Crime is practically non-existent and the area is mainly composed of wealthy whites and techy Indians. School zone is excellent and neighborhoods are generally well kept.
The overall experience of living in Richmond is quite amazing. The city has a rich historical aspect, and is culturally inclined as well. In addition, there are many opportunities for children, and it is a safe location to live in. Local clubs and organizations motivate residents to get to know each other here and its a wonderful place to live. I see the future as getting better, improving in the already successful schools, libraries, recreational areas, and employment.
