I loved the supportive community. The people were kind and extremely welcoming. The service in public places was extremely good as well. People went out of their way to help me many times. The school district was run very good too. The teachers put their students first and they spend extra time assisting the kids. The small town allowed for a safe and fun environment.
Worland is a quiet, peaceful little town in the center of the Big Horn Basin. It's an agricultural community with the usual small businesses. The diversity of people, stores, and entertainment is non existent. Fast food restaurants outnumber real restaurants 2-1. Meth and prescription drug abuse is rampant, and there aren't many job opportunities. Beautiful during the spring.
