Working in Woodstock
I loved Woodstock as a small city with a cute, historical main street, farms, all the big name stores, easy access to Atlanta and friendly suburbs when we first moved here 8yrs ago. It is still great, though there's a little more traffic and a little less green space. The outlet mall was put in a great spot, I love having a Costco and our little, historic main street has turned into a hopping, trendy street with great little stores and delicious restaurants. The friendly suburbs and easy access to Atlanta has remained despite the growth!
I love living in Woodstock. Woodstock is a great place that embraces diversity, innovation, and livelihood. There are several hobby clubs and events constantly going on in Downtown Woodstock on Main Street. There's also a wonderful library system. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
Woodstock has grown considerably the last 5 years! It has welcomed everyone, it's very diverse in it's shops and the town's people. I absolutely love living here! Everyone has a smiling face and southern hospitality that cannot be beat! There are upscale shopping excursions, wine tastings, horse farms and just a general feeling of a hometown without it feeling to small or too big! The subdivisions have wonderful neighbors that are always willing to help out if needed. There isn't a lot of 'trashy areas' in the city, which is nice for home values, as well as people values! The people here take pride in what they have and it shows! I would definitely recommend Woodstock whether you are retiring or a young couple starting out. It is a fabulous place to have everything you need without the hassle of the traffic of getting into the Atlanta area.
