Woodstock, GA is the ideal place to raise your children! This area is growing quickly because of the stellar downtown area. The nightlife is a great and smaller alternative to Atlanta. The school system is rigorous and I have had a great educational experience in this location. Even though the neighborhoods in Woodstock are more for families, the high-rises and smaller homes are perfect for retirees. There are several walking trails, biking trails, and kayak ramps in the area as well.
