Woodside Reviews

Woodside is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Mixed in with the spectacular northern California woodlands, but still close to San Francisco, San Jose, and other bustling cities in between, Woodside is the perfect combination. However, it is absurdly expensive.

I grew up in Woodside and have lived here my whole life, from pre-school through my high school. It is definitely a place I see myself living once I decide to settle down later in life with a family and a steady income. It is quite an expensive place to live, but it is in a beautiful part of the Bay Area. With only a 30 minute drive to the beach and 30 minute drive to the wonderful San Francisco, how can you go wrong in this quaint little nook on the Peninsula? I guarantee you that you won't go a single weekend while visiting in Woodside without seeing a horse or a colossal number of bicyclists. Woodside has one of the most prolific horse populations on the west coast, and My Oh My are they beautiful to look at. Furthermore, I would have to say that Woodside has some of the heaviest bike traffic in the Bay Area. I wouldn't change anything about the town I was raised in and I wouldn't give up any of my time here for the world.
Comfortable, wooded area with a small town feel. I feel safe in this neighborhood, however unless you are well-established here, it is difficult to fit in.
