I loved being raised in Woods Cross. I moved there from Bountiful Utah (neighboring city) and resented the move at first. After living there for a couple of weeks, the neighborhood kids invited me to a Boy Scout campout and made sure I was included and comfortable. They accepted me for who I was and never made me feel like I needed to prove anything. I was never bullied and was able to express myself in the way I wanted because how nice my new friends were.
The parents raising my friends were often the Scout leaders and became father figures for myself. They gave me guidance and supported every decision I made and led me to get my Eagle Scout award.

I love Woods Cross. It's not too big, there are nice developments happening and most of all, it's very very safe. I believe our crime rate is less than 1%. We have lovely bike trails and hikes nearby. The cost of living is quite low and yet most of the city is well maintained and quite lovely. We have several nice parks such as hogan and miller's park. However there are a ton of mosquitos in the summer! Everyone is quite nice and we have access to everything one could need. I however don't love the air quality and huge refineries that we have.
A great area for a little bit of outside country life but still suburb area, great for families, it’s a wonderful place to live.
