I love Woodruff! its the best town I have lived in! PLease feel free to live here bec ause honestly I have never been in a better place. There are lots of good resturants and other activities. Woodruff Arts Center is a visual and performing arts center located in Atlanta, Georgia. The center houses three not-for-profit arts divisions on one campus. Opened in 1968, the Woodruff Arts Center is home to the Alliance Theatre, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the High Museum of Art. Woodruff Park, named for Robert W. Woodruff, is located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The park's 6 acres are north of Edgewood Ave, between Peachtree Street NE and Park Place NE. The park includes a fountain, a performance pavilion, and several monuments. The Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library is a library in Atlanta which serves the four members of the Atlanta University Center, the world's oldest consortium of historically black colleges and universities. I love Woodruff.
Woodruff is an excellent small town. Everyone knows everyone and it's like one big happy family. Woodruff is expanding. There are two new subdivisions being built right now. They are bringing in more people which means more revenue for the city. A new store, Tractor Supply, is also being built. That means new jobs for the area. Woodruff is a great city with great people. I went to school in Woodruff and loved it. I moved away, but moved back. Woodruff is all about community. The park was completely re-vamped to make it kid-friendly. A water feature was even put in for kids to run through and get wet. New restaurants have been opening up in the city giving people a variety of choices to eat from.
It is very much a small town experience. Woodruff provides and "everybody-knows-everybody" sensation; furthermore, it is accompanied with everybody knowing everyone else's business. That is one of the very few downfalls; however, there is an amazing meat market in town.
