I like it!
Nice and clean town. Yes, there are some neighborhoods that are in poor condition, but the city is working to improve conditions in those areas.
Please note as you get live closer to bay area (San Francisco, San Jose, Curpertino, etc), the cost of living increases. Woodland is about two hours away. Many people who work in the Bay Area often commute from Woodland. Cost of living is increasing and expected to continue because of the bay area jobs. I was fortunate to be here before Netflix, Facebook, and others were known to the world. This is nice town and cheaper compared to the bay area.

Woodland is my home town. I really do love it here it's one of those towns where basically everyone knows everyone. It has gotten bigger in population and is continuing to expand even more. The elementary schools here are very good I went to Zamora elementary and the teachers there are amazing, Woodland is a very good watch out community meaning a lot of the citizens here look out for each other. I truly love it here and would like to someday raise my family here, but i do want to be able to explore other cities and states as well.
For the most part, Woodland is in fact a very safe and quiet town but some parts of downtown Woodland are a little dangerous. There are a decent amount of homeless people living in tents downtown but they usually just mind there own business. There are a lot of stores and attractions that bring in people from other areas, the most notable being the nearby Costco. Overall, Woodland is a wonderful town and would recommend to anyone looking for a new home.
