As a current resident of Woodbury, Minnesota, I am glad to say this is a very nice growing suburb-city! It is a great community and lots of wonderful services (food, lodging, school, health, etc) are easily available.
Review Woodbury
I have recently purchased a home in Woodbury and have loved it so far. There are many walking trails that I can take my dog on a walk as well as a large dog park to play in. There are many shops and restaurants to explore, but there is also ways to escape and have peace and quiet. Woodbury has a good mix of big city and suburb to please all types of people!
I've lived in Woodbury my whole life, and I would say it's a nice place to live. It's a good quality suburb, middle to upper middle class, yet diverse. In general it is a quiet but with plenty of things to do, I feel very safe here. There are great places to shop, eat either dine in or fast food, parks, walking paths, events, clubs, gyms and fitness centers, community opportunities, and so on. It is a rather family friendly city with many educational programs and various school options. Overall, I have no complaints. If I had to be picky, I would say maybe a couple more dine in restaurants would be nice. It is fairly easy to drive to the cities as well.
