Close to shopping, great commuter location, award winning Monroe-Woodbury schools with arts/music/athletics focus. One of the few towns to have a community pool and park in Central Valley, as well as Earl Reservoir Park with natural water access in Highland Mills. Small town feel, even with a large outlet mall in town. Downtown area needs a facelift and Route 32 cutting through the town doesn’t help. Nice houses, mix of liberal and conservative. Lots of new families in the area as well as many who have been here several generations. Needs more sidewalks, and walking/bike paths. Decent hiking. Dog friendly.

Woodbury, NY is a safe suburban neighborhood with lots of nice homes. It is very family oriented. There are many different houses of worship, lots of shopping and great restaurants. The schools are excellent . Local beaches are very nice. The Hamptons and NYC are both within a reasonable distance as well.
The town of Woodbury is a place where you grow up and hope to one day leave to move onto bigger and better things. They have a great school district, plenty of extracurricular activities, and lots of clubs.
