Neighbors are friendly or leave you alone. I can walk the streets knowing I'm safe. The neighborhood loves its holidays as well. The walls in the houses are thin, though, so I can hear nightly arguing from the neighbors.

Being in a Metropolitan area and near St. Louis, MO there are many things to do and see in the surrounding area. The employment and cost of living has decreased dramatically. Many are moving from the area to pursue better paying jobs. I have family that I feel obligated to presently, but am leaning towards leaving the area, too.
It's a small town where everyone knows their neighbor and can count on them for protection and help. Schools are small which gives all learning abilities the opportunity to learn.
