Winthrop Reviews

The town of Winthrop adopted a western theme many years ago to attract tourists. The town is tiny, no stoplights. If your idea of fun is shopping then move on. No malls or franchise restaurants. .. just Ma and Pa businesses. If you’re a physically active person then you’ll love it here. In the Winter you can cross country and skate ski, fatbike, ice skate or snow shoe. In the other seasons you can hike, bike, run, fish or float down the rivers. Minimum wage jobs galore but if you want to earn more money you better telecommute, start your own business or be in the trades. No air pollution, safe community.

The town itself is charming. It is an Old-West themed town, which in the summer is very busy with tourism. Situated in a beautiful valley, this town has shops, hotels, restaurants, and more!
