Winslow Township is my hometown. I was born in Philly, but raised in Sicklerville my whole life. And boy, I love this place. I love seeing the horses and the cows and the turkeys around Thanksgiving. In Winslow, the weather is never always the same. We see snow, super hot days, rainy days, and foggy days. Unlike other areas that have wildfires, earthquakes and tornadoes, Winslow is a very safe zone in regards to nature. The community is extremely friendly. They’ll invite you and the whole family for barbecues in the Summer, and neighborhood pool parties. These suburbs are my home. Rather than the crazy honking, noise, and busy city life, I love the quiet, serene, country-like suburban life. It’s more my style. It’s apart of me. Winslow is apart of me. And I am proud where I am from.

Winslow Township has been my home for the past 10 years. It is an interesting part of New Jersey. It is full of different variations of people. You have African Americans, Caucasians, Native Americans, etc. In regards to living conditions, many housing developments can seem cramped. Winslow, in itself, can remind a city person of a city. Traffic is a nightmare everyday due to the over population. Overall, Winslow is a nice town to live in. It has its issue just like any other place, but can be a nice home to those who are looking for a new place to live, and call home.
Winslow Township is a great town to live in, especially if you have a young family. Growing up here was awesome. The schools were crowded but they made sure I received the best education. Many people moved here from the city to get a best education for their kids. There are lots of things to do with kids, so my summers were always busy. There were events with Police Night Watch, carnivals, and fire works for the 4th of July. Neighbors stuck together and looked out for me if I was outside without my parents.

What I really liked was that I live next to the Atlantic City Expressway so it was easy for me to get to the beach.

I would love to see more schools built because the schools are still overcrowded. There is a big baby boom and there is a need for more elementary and middle schools. I would not change where I live for anything.
