Clean, a lot of nice people in the neighborhood. Loves to do block parties, good environment to be around.
Lived here for two years before moving back to Michigan. Absolutely wonderful. Friendly people, great access to trails, parks, and public transit with the metra. A very close knit, quiet, and safe community.
Winfield is an excellent town, if your children are placed in CUSD 200. West Chicago schools are significantly worse than Wheaton schools, so it definitely depends on where in Winfield you live. Overall, the town is very safe and well managed.
