Warm and friendly town! High-class communities and great people. Windermere, FL is one of the wealthiest communities in Florida. As a result, the safety ratings are very high. Great schools (public and private). Definitely a great place to consider raising a family.
Windermere has been my home since I was born. I have always wished I could move to a city with more adventure or excitement. However, I have begun to realize, Windermere has a lot to offer. I am able to live in an area where crime is not a big issue and the streets tend to not be filled with trash. I have so many cute and welcoming areas to study and hang out with friends such as Starbucks and Paloma. I love how close I am to so many delicious choices of food: Chipotle, Spoleto, BurgerFi. The Windermere Town Hall area is a personal favorite. It holds Farmer's Markets, Food Trucks, Memorial Services, and is full of positive community feelings. I even had the chance to volunteer at the Windermere Treebute in this area and I loved doing it.
Although Windermere can be pricey to live in, it is very family-oriented. There are always job opportunities, people out and working together, families together, so many parks and ways to entertain everyone, safe, and great schools. Recommend for families.
