Working in Winchester
I was born and raised in Winchester, VA and I have to say that it is an absolutely fantastic place to live in! We have a lot of small, local shops in downtown Winchester, where it's always bustling with people walking around and exploring all of the shops! It's a nice place to settle down due to the suburban atmosphere which overall makes the town very hospitable. Not to mention that our town hosts the Apple Blossom Parade where people from all over come to see our big celebration! Overall, it's a great community to live in.
I love the many things that Winchester has to offer, such as the restaurants, activities, etc. Winchester is pretty clean and there aren't too many issues surrounding this town, however there is a lot of traffic. Traffic in Winchester around 5pm is absolutely insane!
I moved to Winchester about a year ago, from Loudoun County. I love the fact that it feels like "country living". The sights are amazing, I see farms and animals along with regular living in the suburbs. I guess just moving from a very populated area and moving out here it is like a breath of fresh air. I still commute to work at the hospital so on the way I see plenty on farms filled with their cows, horses, and other animals. I remember before moving out here I took a trip up here and the funny thing a year after I ended up moving about three minutes away but didn't intentionally mean to. However, its a great place to visit and might fall in love and end moving!
