If u ain't rich might has well not come to this little town poor and average people barely make it by. Winchester has build a marina and it is costing the living tremendously they have took away every event there was! Their is nothing to do for kids they removed the Winchester Speedway; they removed Putt-Putt Golf; they removed skating rink and many other places! THERE IS NOTHING for kids TO DO when they get in trouble or do drugs they will complain this is not a place to raise kids! This is only a town for maybe rich and people have retired with loads of money. They definitely need to get their priorities straight School system's and judicial system suck's! Mayor and other branches has let that money go to their head's. Oldham Theatre was nice just a tad bit pricey along with Montana Drive-in food was high and not that good at all! Just eat before u go. They also need more food variety maybe like build a Cook out or a steak and shake definitely worth investing into.
I love Winchester! Though, Winchester needs more activities for the community and more "night life" scenes.
I grew up in Winchester, Tennessee and I continue to reside there when I'm not staying on campus at MTSU. Winchester's "small town" characteristics include a moonshine distillery, multi-denominational churches, family-owned restaurants, weaponry shops, a ludicrous school system, and walk-in urgent care facilities. In the midst of the one-dimensional aspect of Winchester, it is painted with Mexican restaurants, Chinese buffets and Indian owned gas stations that people dislike because everybody in Winchester is absolutely racist and prejudice.
