Such a lovely neighborhood! Safe, clean and well mannered residents present. Lots of community involvement and endless opportunities provided to others. In the heart of Etown so commute is reasonable and fairly close to everything. I see no need for improvement.

Winchester is a small town with not a lot of growth opportunity. Lexington and Richmond are about 25-30 minutes away. There isn't much to do with children unless you travel outside of Winchester. There is practically no nightlife, unless you go to a hole in the wall Honky Tonk bar or Woody's. Also, there aren't many restaurant choices aside from Applebees, mainly fast food. I am pleased with my daughter's elementary school, Strode Station. She just started attending Kindergarten last week. The school is clean, safe, and the teachers/staff really seem to care about the children.
I haved lived in Winchester all of my life and in my opinion everyone in Winchester is super friendly and everybody knows everybody! I love Winchester because it’s almost like it takes you back and everyone has an old soul.
