Such a lovely neighborhood! Safe, clean and well mannered residents present. Lots of community involvement and endless opportunities provided to others. In the heart of Etown so commute is reasonable and fairly close to everything. I see no need for improvement.
If you live here, you most likely work in either Lexington, Mt. Sterling, or Richmond. This is just a small town where everyone seems to know each other or knows of each other. Since Lexington is only 30 minutes away, there isn't much to do in Winchester, but it is a decent place to live.
Awesome place to grow up in. It's definitely has flipped as far as new people verse old. I have noticed a lot of female arrest is way over surrounding cities, including Lexington and Louisville. Why is that? Are they being targeted or is drugs and crime so bad there, they are in a mess? What is being done there to stop the drug problem? Seems out of hand
