I am a first year student at a university in Wilmore. Wilmore is a very small town compared to my previous city but I like it. The people here are very friendly and they care about their neighbors as if they are a part of a family. One thing I am upset about living in Wilmore is that nothing is open after 9pm. Its just a dark town after 9. However, overall its a pleasant place to stay. It is quiet and a safe town.
Review Wilmore
Wilmore is an adorable, friendly college town. It has the small town feel and is extremely quaint. The schools are well-kept and the teachers are personable. There is a sense of community and love in Wilmore. It is surrounded by beautiful land and only 20 minutes from Lexington, KY.
I long term lived in Chicago and have short term visited Italy, but I always find myself missing Kentucky. The farms, open fields and many hills allow myself and others to connect with nature. It's more pleasing to go outside and smell cow manure than Body odder and gasoline from taxis. Although the country feel of Kentucky and other states near by won't last very long. Industrialization will eventually over come America to the point of no return. And there's nothing we can do about. But I wouldn't live anywhere else. I love who I am as a person and if I lived somewhere else I wouldn't be who I am today and I wouldn't have met the people I have or been impacted by their friendship. I'm where I am for a reason and I would not change a single thing about my life.
