I have lived in Willow Park, Texas since Kindergarten. It is a great small town in between two major cities with easy access to both for shopping, dining, and entertainment. I like that my family chose Willow Park versus a large city because of the close knit community, safety, ease to get around the town, and the larger lot sizes allowing for big backyards. Because Willow Park is a small town, some of the roads are lacking and in need of repair but funding dollars are limited.
Willow Park sits on the outskirts of Ft Worth. It has everything you need without having to live in the hustle and bustle of city living. Its very family friendly and is zoned in the top school district of Aledo. Its the perfect place to live if you are looking for convinient country living.
We're a pretty small town - but most people are very friendly. Usually when you go into a store, it's more an in and out ordeal unless you bump into someone you know. Then you usually talk for a while before leaving. They are extremely supportive of the local high school.
