Williston is a great place to live for the most part. Depending on what school your child goes to, you can be very happy or very upset with them. Each school kind of goes by their own standards, and some are very hard to have a good teacher-parent communication system. The college is small, but offers a lot of different things as well as help you in any way they can. There is absolutely no loss for jobs, it is a booming town and almost everywhere is hiring at any given time. Housing used to be hard to find here, but there is now a lot of apartments and other places to rent or buy (they still are on the more expensive side for a decent place). For activities, it is limited for people who like to do things that you can easily find in major cities. Child activities are there, but you really have to search for them, and any sports or extracurricular activities are expensive.

Williston is working to become a more family-friendly town located in the middle of a curious mix of oil fields and friendly farms. The people are mostly wonderful and caring individuals. The town is growing very quickly and the improvements are drawing in more families and small businesses. Overall, I believe it will become a wonderful small town to call home.
It is a very conservative town, but everyone is very kind to one another. The schools are close to the town, transportation can be mildly irritating, but overall, the place is amazing.
