Working in Williston
Williston is a pretty good area in Vermont. There are a handful of shops that range from sports to clothes to art, and plenty of groceries. The local library is great. There are also some short hikes that are very pretty and relatively easy.
Accessibility to restaurants, grocery stores, and hiking trail is fast and easy. Close enough to Burlington that it can be an easy commute in for dinner or shopping, but far enough away that the college nightlife isn't right outside your wind ow at night. Great sidewalks and neighbors to walk the dog in, and all the residents I have been in contact with/have met have been extremely friendly and "neighborly"
Williston Vermont is a beautiful town that offers a lot for everyone, especially families. It has held onto the small town feel, while still growing and expanding with new housing developments as well as growth in businesses. There is a value to supporting the community, local businesses, farmers etc and recognizing the importance of large businesses as well. I would absolutely choose to live here again, and plan to stay here for the next 7-10 years as my children finish school.
