Growing up in Williams, I know the place inside and out. The thing I love most is the small town feel. A lot of others have told me how much they hated growing up here, but I enjoyed it because it felt like growing up surrounded by a huge family and I felt safe. Being surrounded by the mountains is really great and makes it easy to go out and enjoy nature right in your backyard. I also think we are fortunate enough to gain our profits from the tourism industry, being so close to the Grand Canyon. And I LOVE how decorated the town becomes during the Christmas season!
While meeting people visiting from around the world everyday is a unique experience, but Williams as a community is small minded and values same-old same-old over the personal growth and betterment of its citizens.
