The schools here are average at best, but actually pretty good by Mississippi's standards. It's a safe town; most of the crime you hear about is drug use. Most people here are very conservative and Baptist. Going to church is probably the best way to make friends here if you're not a local. I'm not sure about job opportunity here but many people commute to Hattiesburg or Gulfport. It's not a bad place at all, just don't expect any entertainment besides Flint Creek, hunting or driving around.

Wiggins is a very small town. It has a lot of outdoor activities and delicious hometown restaurants. There is a close sense of community and belonging in Wiggins. Everyone knows each other and we love to meet new people because we are southern. The town is full of helpful and caring people. Flint Creek Water Park is a very popular attraction for our town and it offers camping, swimming, and boating as entertainment. We also have a large snow cone stand that is growing in popularity among the coast and it has won awards. It is called Snow Boogers. (yes I know, weird name) It offers a wide selection of flavors and some of the combinations you haven't even thought of before.
Wiggins is a very small, friendly town. It is currently growing with new restaurants and retail stores. The school system is great and it is a great town to raise children and possibly retire. There are not many jobs that pay great, but the commute to other larger cities is very convenient and no more than 30- 45 minuet drive. Overall it’s a great place to live.
