Whittier has its pros and cons. Whittier is beautiful but it is definitely pricey from time to time. Whittier has parks all over and they are very clean. There's a location called Uptown Whittier and it is very beautiful during the spring, not too hot or not too cold. Uptown Whittier consists of restaurants and tiny shops. These tiny shops can either be clothing stores, art stores, and even candy stores. The candy store is my personal favorite. Sadly because it is a public area there is no smoking policy, lots of smokers in this area from time to time. Usually at night. During the holidays, Uptown Whittier puts up lights and the community puts together a Christmas parade for family and friends, and lots of people can join in the parade. Speaking of the community, the community is very loving. The churches in this community have open arms and consider everyone family. I've been going to Saint Marys for a long while and they are very loving. Whittier is a beautiful area.
Whittier is a beautiful and charming city! Neighborhoods are quaint with different trees for different blocks. People are kind and friendly and willing to lend a helping hand. In the past five years, Whittier businesses have begun to boom, and we have all the major stores and fast-food restaurants as all big cities have. Please come and check us out - from the libraries to the beautiful parks, come and check out the city of Whittier - you will fall in love with it just like I did 20 years ago. I've never looked back!
LOVE LOVE LOVE WHITTIER! I have been raised in whittier most of my life. I used to reside in Chino Hills when I was younger but moved back to whittier. I now live and raise my two children in whitter. I enjoy working in whittier along with going to uptown whittier. I currently live in the historic district of whittier and i find it to be beautiful and quiet.
