White River Junction is an up and coming town. It is still affordable in the area known as the Upper Valley. It is convenient to both I-91 and I-89, which means easy access to DHMC and Dartmouth College as well as almost anything else you may need in the Upper Valley. Housing is still somewhat affordable, compared to rental costs in the area that have the same amount of convenience. There are many new restaurants and boutique stores popping up in an area that was pretty much empty for the longest time. There is even a bus station, Amtrak station, and it is close to the Lebanon Airport!

I was not thrilled, when my husband moved us back to where he grew up! It is very small for my taste, and people are always in your business. I find people are very biased here, and not accepting of change or diversity. Some people are really rude.
White River is a cute little town that is sorrounded by big green mountains. The community is not rich, but people still care for each other. White River has gone through some ups and downs, but it is getting better all the time. Down town White River has grown in so many ways. There are many coffee shops and restaurants that line the streets like never before. People care about health and taking care of their bodies. Health is a big deal to most everyone who lives in White River. White River is put on the map because of the rail ways that it offers. People who travel don't have to only go to Burlington to travel White River also offers this travel as well! White River is a little town that will one day go big if we only have a little faith. A little faith goes a long ways.
