White Pine Reviews
Rating 3.5 out of 5 4 reviews
White Pine, being a small town, is inviting and growing after a development stand-still for many years. The local elementary and middle school is combined on the same property, allowing for teachers and students to get to know each other at a more personal level that will last the entire year. Local restaurants, two being Mexican, are very tasty. Neighboring Morristown and Newport while also being less than an hour away from Knoxville, White Pine is tucked away yet still in close distance to the amenities of other larger towns.
I lived here my entire youth and left this town in 1997 for the military right out of high school and have never looked back. I had a kind relative advise me to get out of there and do something with myself. He was so right. Don't move here unless you like factory work, crime, meth, bland restaurants, and people with no teeth. Don't just leave TN, leave the South. Kids who stay there have no future except for Wal-Mart or a factory. Travel the world. Travel the US. Don't stay in poverty.
White Pine, TN is a very friendly town. It seems like everyone always has a neighborly attitude and a smile on their face. New places opening here are causing better growth. Everything in this town is mostly within walking distance.
