I am a current Wharton resident. I have been living in the town for about 11 years. I attended elementary school and middle school in this town. Since I moved here, I have enjoyed most things about the town. First, it is located in a convenient area. Shopping malls, restaurants, movie theaters, parks, and grocery stores are all within a 10 minute drive. Also, the interstate highway exits directly into our town. Although it has been a pleasant experience living in Wharton, it can get a little boring at times. I would like to see some parades, block parties, town events, etc. occur regularly.

I have lived here since I was 2 years old and as i continue to grow, I continue to see how much memories I had growing up in this one little suburban town. It had a great school at a close distance. Friendly children playing all around is another great sight to expect. And during the day, a well driven economy as you see old buildings being torn down and rebuilt as anew for a chance to make the economy and even ecosystem better. Hands-down a perfect place to call home.
Growing up in Wharton was fun. We are a very diverse city with no problems. Our early lives were built around recreation and play dates. The town offered numerous family activities and parents in general are all close. A small town of about 6000, growing in this safe environment is something that all kids should be able to experience.
