Working in Wethersfield
Wethersfield is a very quiet small town. Everybody knows everybody. You can easily make friends because of all the activities and sports kids are involved in and adults as well. Wethersfield has a good education system, and the teachers are very kind and helpful, you can always stay after school with them and receive all the help you need. The town is very clean and very safe, unlike other towns it is close to impossible to feel unsafe in this town. Everyone is very involved in making this small community a great and happy place to live in. The parks are just the best, and Old Wethersfield is where a lot of people go to visit and enjoy a nice and relaxing walk. Wethersfield is not as diverse, hence it is predominantly white but you won't ever feel like you don't belong here.
Lovely little town with a lot to do! Wethersfield is close to fun actives in surrounding towns as well. Right next to Hartford where you can attend events at the XL center or go to concerts at the Xfinity Center. Being in the center of Connecticut makes it easy to travel out of state. The public school system is accommodating for kids with disabilities and the teachers really care about your child's education.
I grew up in Wethersfield, Connecticut. I experienced their public schools up until I graduated college. It is a very tight knit crowd as almost everyone knows each other. This leads to a very neighborly feel. There is also Old Historic Wethersfield which is absolutely beautiful to walk around and eat at their many restaurants. One thing I would change would be nightlife. I hope that in the future, Wethersfield comes up with some ideas about how to have a safe, night time activity for teens, so they don't get caught up doing something bad.
