This is a great area to live, start up a family, and raise your kids. There are great restaurants to go to with the family and spend quality time together. Likewise, Princeton is very close by where people of all ages--kids, teenagers, and adults--can all have something to do, from going out to eat at very posh restaurants, to getting a scoop of ice cream, to shopping, or to playing in the water fountains. Additionally, the schooling in the West Windsor Plainsboro district is ranked one of the best nationwide and statewide. The quiet of the suburbs allows for great privacy and the golf course view of the home not only offers tranquility, but something beautiful to wake up to every day. However, if you are an individual not looking to raise a family, or if you are all about that fast pace lifestyle, then being in the suburbs is not the best choice of living.
Review West Windsor Township
Living in West Windsor, New Jersey has been a great experience in my life. It was a wonderful connected with some of the best public schools in the country. In the morning I wake up to the call of mocking birds and at night I sleep to the sounds of cicadas. If you choose to walk around at night, it being a safe neighborhood, you will notice the big and little dipper in the night sky as well as many other constellations. It is a wonderful place for families and is only a 5 minute drive from a local train station and the town center. The town center is equipped with a library and many tutoring opportunities for both who want to tutor and want to be tutored. There is not much of a night life as it is a quiet neighborhood; however, the suburban neighborhood is not far from Princeton University where one can enjoy any number of amenities. Overall it is a very enjoyable and great place to live.
One of the problems with West Windsor is that there isn't a good place to "hang out'. The teens need a place, the stay at home moms need a place and the old retired guys need a place where they can get together and just meet-up with friends casually and drink coffee/grab a sandwich. The local diner is SO overpriced now that you don't want to go there on a daily basis. Every place else such as PJ's Pancakes, Starbucks, Bagel Hole,Grover's Mill Coffeehouse, etc. is either too small, overpriced or just not comfortable enough. This place needs good food, good service and reasonable prices....something no one has figured out yet. Princeton certainly hasn't either.
