West Windsor Township Reviews
The public schools are very good. However there is no diversity, the majority of the residents of West Windsor are of Asian descent, Chinese, Japanese, and Indian. This means that at the schools there is no culture around normal American high school events and activities such as Prop and Post Prop, Homecoming, and Sports. Sports are the biggest problem, the parents of the Asian children make them participate in only academic activities which means there is no one on the sports teams and as a result of the High School no longer is able to have a varsity or freshmen football team, there is only a JV. Also, funding goes to music and academic programs instead of towards sports and non-academic clubs
Great place to raise a young family as the schools are some of the better ones in the state. It’s a tougher place for seniors since culture and public transportation are lacking. Long commute times to New York and Philadelphia place a strain on families but the parks, schools, libraries, shopping, and places of worship are all easy to access.
It is a good neighborhood but very expensive and not a lot to do besides go to the mall and movies and park. The public schools are very competitive and hard but its worth it. The neighboor hood is safe, everyone in a while some robberys but no shootings or anything to bad. The people can be very ignorant here and rude and its every man for themselves.
