West Salem Reviews
Nice small quiet town. Not much nightlife, although for race families there is a drag strip. Small grocery store and dollar general. The town is not far from Ashland or Wooster for shopping or restaurants. The town is growing slowly with upgrades to the bank and Dollar General.
West Salem, Ohio is a small rural town with a Mayberry feel to it. Pros: Quite little town with a nice public school system through 12 grade. Neighbors are friendly, and everyone works together. Cons: Could use more shopping/fuel options. Currently there are two gas pumps and one general store, both by the only stop light in town. Not many recreational options for younger children or teens.
Just about as small town USA as it gets. Would like to see a little more to do and maybe a little bit more class among people, but overall everyone seems good hearten.
