Used to be peaceful and quiet until SW 160 St. (Colonial Dr.) Became a major east/west artery. In addition, the average speed is 48mph as shot by radar. County PD has refused to monitor or even try to curtail speeding.
In addition the traffic light at the intersection of US 1 lasts 10 seconds except morning rush hour, ( 9am)

It’s a quiet neighborhood no noise or any robberies or other disturbances and shopping plazas and grocery stores are very close in proximity.
West Perrine is a peaceful community where Hispanic and African Americans mingle well. The schools are pretty decent . There is no nightlife unless you consider get togethers nightlife.
