I moved to the area from Portland Maine, this is a much poorer community however things are slowly improving, as mentioned above, there are many new businesses. I have loved living here and I'm glad that we moved out of the city to the countryside. The solitude and the opportunities I've had have shaped who I am. In the woods the sheer aloneness is sometimes unsetting however, it is utterly fantastic. Not everywhere do you have the privilege to have so much space to yourself with no peering eyes. I have learned to greatly appreciate the nature around me. I've had the opportunity to experience life with animals as I wouldn't have had in the city. My family has livestock and I now horseback ride. This area has provided me with more than enough to be happy.

I feel safe in my community for the most part. I believe that the police could be more active when it comes to finding illegal drugs. It is very easy to access any kind of drug you may want. You are not pressured to do drugs, and it is easy to stay with the right social group.
Housing is varied in the area, it goes hand and hand with income. Most housing in not very high class, because we are a poor community. Most town houses and building are old.
