West Newbury is a small, old schooled sort of town that offers a close-knit community. Neighborhoods are full of friendly faces of people of all ages. The houses are all spread out, so that every home owner has their own space to raise a safe and happy family. The schools offer a education that cannot compare to others. The school is dated, but the lessons are updated and taught with enthusiasm. There is not much many chain stores and restaurants, so it permits the families of west newbury to run their own successful businesses.

Living in West Newbury has been a good experience for me. The landscape is beautiful, the community is small and well centered, and it is extremely safe. The schools for the area are well operated though they could use more funding, and there are all sorts of parks and trails in the area to enjoy. Because of the close proximity to neighboring cities Newburyport and Haverhill, it also never feels isolated or separated from modern life like many small towns have the tendency to do.
West Newbury is a very family friendly town with a great education system. West Newbury was originally a farming town which most of the farm houses and fields remain, giving it the country feel. West Newbury is about 45 minutes from Boston so entertainment and fun is accessible. I loved growing up in West Newbury for the safety and the small town feel.
