West Mifflin was a lovely neighborhood growing up, dooming with Century III Mall. Now a days it seems to be crumbling. Suffering in the economy. The school district spending more money on sports than education. I see the houses looking lower and lower on the income scale.. I'm sad to see the place I grew up falling short and turning into a place I no longer feel comfortable and safe.

Air quality isn't great. Drivers around here are horrible. School is complacent when it comes to bullying, fights, and students at the middle school smelling weed in the halls, and if you have to get a hold of the school, good luck getting a response. Problems with kids breaking into cars, stealing stuff out of people's yards, and no one cares enough to do anything about it. 1/10 would not recommend.
There are many different areas to West Mifflin. Where I reside, it is a very family/kid friendly community. The city and many other areas are easily accessible from here and there are many shops and necessities right in your back yard. Overall, it's a great place to live.
