West long branch is a pretty average town. There isn’t much to do except eat and hang out with your friends. Something I enjoy is that it’s less than 10 min from the beach which is amazing. Another thing that’s great about west long branch is it’s very quiet and peaceful and you would never guess that there’s a college down the block. The college down the block is also great because during the year we can go sports games. Although West Long Branch is not the most fun and exciting town it’s still home.

West long branch is a place that has its beauty, but the people, oh man if you don't fit into the "White" standard you'll definitely be stared at. Also, your neighbors are nosey and will try and find out everything about your life.
I lived in West Long Branch, NJ for four years while attending school. Between the beach, restaurants, and a decent sized mall there are plenty of the things to do. If you're satisfied with a suburban atmosphere than there really would be no reason to leave the city. But if you wanted to experience something more lively, Hoboken and New York City are a short distance as well so you can really get the best of both worlds here. There are also bars and nightlife even closer in Asbury Park.
