I have lived in West Lawn since I was born and I have enjoyed growing up here. There is a large abundance of restaurants and small businesses that I enjoy shopping at. The public schools here are good, and people are generally quite friendly. The job market in the area is pretty good and I was able to find a job relatively quickly. There is a good mixture in small and large businesses for different purposes, and Hershey Park is not too far away for a good day. Dorney Park is also close, if you enjoy amusement parks.

It is a small community filled with families. There are always children playing outside and neighbors walking around always eager to chat. The proximity to schools makes the neighborhood ideal for new families and is a comforting place for anyone who visits. The houses themselves are updated but the old traditions stay, people chat on their porches and people feel comfortable enough that they lend anything from sugar to cars to one another.
West Lawn is a normal suburban town. People are generally friendly and the school district is quite good. With West Reading close by, this area is becoming more and more interesting with many exciting opportunities to take part in. Although personally, I think we need a Trader Joe's desperately.
