I love West Lafayette and all that it has to offer with Purdue University being right there but there are still some things that I believe could make this an even better town. The construction is horrible, especially on campus right now. Once they get that finished up, it will be a beautiful campus again and I can't wait!

West Lafayette is a great, diverse place to live. With a renowned campus, Purdue University, in your backyard, it gives children and teens a chance to experience a college atmosphere at a young age. Children can grow up and go to games. There are also many trails and parks that children can go to. While living near a college campus can be a great experience, it can also cause some problems. Being close to a college means lots of parties and college kids who may not be doing the right thing. This could cause minor crime, public intoxication, and drunk or reckless driving. Overall, West Lafayette is an amazing place to live with the amount of diversity and opportunity this town offers.
I have lived in West Lafayette for most of my life. For the most part, West Lafayette is okay to live in. There is, for the most part, there is not much to do in West Lafayette. Living in West Lafayette is not a cheap place to live. The cheapest apartment that I have found is around of 350 dollars a month but that is if you are willing to live with three other people. The Walmart in West Lafayette charges more for their merchandise than the Walmart in Lafayette. Lafayette is the next town over. If you are wanting to live in West Lafayette you will want to have a high paying job. The School Corporation in West Lafayette is considered to one of the best in the state.
