We definitely have the four seasons here. Hot summers, perfect fall and spring and some winters with alot of precip and sometimes not too much. Definitely change of seasons. Lots of summer sports activities, lots of golf and tennis and other outdoor activities. We do have ice storms where we lose power, but this is taken care of fairly quickly. Roads are cleared of snow very quickly. Around here you must have summer clothing, winter clothing and everything in between!

Honestly, if I had to choose a place to live again, I would choose Missouri. I am reminded of where I live and the atmosphere (fresh air, friendly people and hometown attitude) I am surrounded by every time I talk to a friend on the phone who lives in a bigger city. On my end you hear birds chirping, on her end you hear sirens.

In the past I have visited other cities ( like Chicago) and while I love the culture, the diversity and the entertainment, the constant drama of the city gets old. Things may move a little but slower here, but it is this slower pace of live that allows you to enjoy your life and the lives of family and friends. I feel it is a great place to live and unless a move is job related, I do not see myself moving anywhere else.

This area has already started to change. Ozark is the county seat and we have been experiencing a huge growth population wise. There are new businesses coming to our area and the older ones are expanding. Change is inevitable, but I hope it does not change so much that we lose the hometown atmosphere.
There are many attractions in this area. Branson has music shows and variety shows, water activities, Springfield has many activities and entertainment, plays and sports. Lots of sports tournaments that bring people from all over the country. There are car shows, farm shows, lawn and garden shows, rodeos, county and local fairs, basketball tournaments, baseball tournaments, lots of high school sports and activities.
