In torrance, it is a generally populated with average to well-off income. Being so close to the beach, prices are expected to be higher for food, living, and jobs are pretty saturated. As a student, I am conflicted with the chance of being at home or moving away to a place where I can actually be hired when I graduate. In the near future, torrance will rise in its cost of living. Even though it is pretty expensive for my average income family, I am grateful for the weather, family and friends, and just the opportunity to be near a beach. We are truly still blessed with what life gave to us.

Carson is a great place to live. There are a lot of filipino restuarants and grocery stores to shop at.
In Old Torrance, there are a lot of family run and local businesses and they all are wonderful. They have the extra something that most commercial businesses are missing and they are Torrance's best known secret.
