This township is very nice. It's very suburban with nothing much happening, quiet. I wish there were more people around my age where I live and that they weren't so far away. I also wish there were big community events given a designated time and place. I wish it was more of a community overall with more interaction together. I've practically grown up here my whole life and particularly, my neighbors have been real great. For example, when my mom hurt her knee, i went to a neighbors house and they went with me to help. I'm glad that people in my community are kind and willing to help each other out.

The overall atmosphere of where I live is great! however, I do wish that we had a grocery store nearby. We had one but it closed and it has become very inconvenient when my family or I may need something. Before, we were able to stop on the way home from school or work but now, we have to travel out of the way just to get the food. There is a giant and acme in thornedale and shady maple in Lancaster but nothing in between making the trips hard and far. overall though this area is peaceful and quite and a generally nice place to live in.
Downingtown is small but has lots of opportunities for people of all ages to become involved and get together, creating a sense of community.
