I like that Wentzville is a closely connected community, and its citizens' are kind, polite, and very friendly. Many hometown stores allow for new connections to be created and brings the community together throughout a variety of events, such as the Rod Run!

Lived here for a decade and it's one of the safest places I have ever lived. There is only one area that has high crime but it's pretty segregated from the rest of the city. Otherwise barely anything happens outside of some shoplifting and an occasional "minor" drug possession. There are lots of people who jog / walk dogs after dark also. That in itself is a pretty good sign. There are a few caveats though including higher taxes, congested roads and rapid expansion. Not to mention any green space being paved over. I will say though Wentzville use to be a smaller more laid back city and now I would compare it more to O'Fallon in atmosphere.
As someone who has lived in Wentzville for 10 years, I’ve seen it grow from a smaller sized farm-like town to a mid sized suburban area that is perfect for families. There are plenty of elementary schools in Wentzville and the surrounding area, a few choices for middle schools, and three high schools with Holt High School being the in-town school. Wentzville is extremely safe and has a great team of police officers, firefighters, and various other helpful townies. As an ever growing city, Wentzville is usually adding a new restaurant, shopping area, or entertainment area to enjoy and constantly stays updated. The town is extremely family friendly and a perfect distance from St. Louis and other fun parts of Missouri.
