I've lived in Weatherford for 15 years, I graduated from Weatherford High School in 2009. Since I moved here, Weatherford has evolved so much, we have so many different opportunities to offer new freshman. Being that Weatherford is an oilfield town, we have so much more to offer than just oil field jobs. Every day things are changing, we have some of the most amazing businesses that offer jobs to college students and understand their busy schedule. It's very easy to navigate this town and it is also 65 miles west of Oklahoma City. I have enjoyed living here and I have been so impressed with SWOSU thus far!

There really isn't a whole lot to do in Weatherford. There is a very nice college campus, but nothing to really do outside of that unless you are into agriculture. With Weatherford being in south western Oklahoma, there is not anything around besides agriculture.
It's a very small typical college town! The town has gotten better in providing more for the college kids to do and the locals are pretty friendly! There could be more job opportunities and a few more selections of restaurants.
