I've lived in Weatherford for 15 years, I graduated from Weatherford High School in 2009. Since I moved here, Weatherford has evolved so much, we have so many different opportunities to offer new freshman. Being that Weatherford is an oilfield town, we have so much more to offer than just oil field jobs. Every day things are changing, we have some of the most amazing businesses that offer jobs to college students and understand their busy schedule. It's very easy to navigate this town and it is also 65 miles west of Oklahoma City. I have enjoyed living here and I have been so impressed with SWOSU thus far!

Weatherford is a very small town, although it is bigger than I once thought. Everyone is very nice and it seems to be a family oriented town. There's cops everywhere but do not think that is because it is unsafe, it is actually the exact opposite. Everything is nearby and within a drive of a couple minutes. What I really enjoy about the town is that it's main focus is the university. Everyone is very proud of the students and athletes, and all the businesses accommodate to a college student's budget.
I love it. This town is diverse (and a college town)! There are awesome places to eat as well. Weatherford has such nice people. The down town area is gorgeous! There are so man bar and grills that are up and coming.
