This place is a great to live in! It is a little expensive but worth it. Super friendly people and nice housing. If you like local restaurants and places to hangout with friends, this is the place. The Village of Wauwatosa is a very upcoming place and has many exciting things to do. Personal, I love to go to the Farmer's Market in the village in the summer. So many Milwaukee businesses come and bring fresh produce there too. It's a great place to meet neighbors and enjoy yourself! Also Eastern Tosa on North Avenue has many new small businesses that are exciting to go to.

I have lived in Wauwatosa for 3.5 weeks now. The neighbors in my small area are very friendly. I love how this part of Milwaukee has kept up their curb appeal. The old houses are beautiful and make for a beautiful walk of 'sightseeing' around the town. For runners, dog walker and all alike, I simply would like to see sidewalks on the roads that do not have them. Wauwatosa seems to be a very safe, family friendly place. It is clean and has plenty of recreational areas to enjoy. I love the parks, kids playing, dog friendly streets with grass and trees. The area is beautiful, and I can only imagine the beauty that comes this fall!
Location, location, location - the three most important words in everyone’s search for a new place to live. We are quite literally at the epicenter of the metro Milwaukee area. Access to everything this great city on a lake offers is conveniently close. Fortunately, here in Wauwatosa, there is an abundance of amazing local amenities, open park lands, a river running through our historic Village center and countless interesting things to see and do.

Crime rates can be the deciding factor for those looking to relocate to a new area. Our abundance of choice shopping also attracts retail theft and artificially increases crime rates while negatively impacting our Niche crime scores. Don’t fret, Tosa is THE PLACE To Be!!

Wauwatosa gets top scores for our low violent crime rates of 133 crimes per 100,000 residents, which are significantly lower than the national average.
