Waupun is a place that I call my hometown; it is where I grew up. Some things that Waupun offers are locally owned family business, a friendly community, and a place to call home. Through the school district, I was blessed with opportunities that I would never be able to do on my own. Some of those opportunities are going to Japan and Germany, hosting foreign exchange students, and learning more about my town. This last year, I got the chance to learn about the history of my town, and how we played a role in World War Two. Waupun also has a historical museum which allowed to expand my knowledge of the town. Another thing I have learned by living in Waupun is how important the community is. Two summers ago, our community was struck by tornadoes. After the storm passed, I watch as my neighbors, other citizens, and outside communities come together to help the affected. I wouldn't want to grow up in any other town. Waupun is an amazing place to live and raise a family.

We moved here about 7 years ago and we love it. It has just enough people that you feel that you have others to talk to, but small enough that you feel comfortable. I am very happy that we chose to move here and make it a home for us!
It's incredibly peaceful, scenic, and historic. People are nice and things buzz about at a very good speed for someone like me.
