Waukon Reviews

Waukon is a small town of 5000 people population in the very northeast corner of Iowa. It is a 20-minute drive to Wisconsin and Minnesota. For the most part Waukon is a quiet town with a low crime rate. However, there is very little to do other than drink at one of the five bars in town. It also seems that there is a serious drug problem in Waukon. There have been many people in and out of jail due to drug use. I feel that if there were more job opportunities or even more things to do as hobbies the alcohol and drug use would decrease drastically.

Waukon is a nice sized town to live in. Everyone knows each other. Waukon has wonderful organizations that involve children, teenagers, adults, and elderly. The school system is equally great, given us a awesome start to our education. Great cozy town in Northeast Iowa that everyone should visit.
Very nice place to grow up. There was not much to do, but it was still a fun place to live. Waukon is a safe community and is a very agricultural town.
